About MicroSystems Consulting
MicroSystems Consulting was originally founded by Stephen White in 1990 following a year-long internship at Microsoft in Product Support Services. At that time, Microsoft Product Support Services (PSS) was approximately 600 people in size and was chartered with supporting Microsoft's system and application products, primarily DOS plus a small assortment of DOS and Macintosh applications. The Windows support group was very small as previous versions of Windows were not very popular. When Microsoft released Windows 3.0 in the spring of 1990 it took the technology world by storm. Windows 3.0 sold exceedingly well, far better than expected, and Microsoft PSS was grossly under-prepared and under-staffed to support the product. PSS quickly grew by more than 300% and technicians soon found themselves stuffed sometimes 3 to a cubicle and taking support calls from hundreds of customers a day.
It was during this time that White and a few of his associates became very knowledgeable on how to make Windows 3.0 function well with Novell Netware, then the premier network operating system. After several moonlight consulting engagements, MicroSystems Consulting was formed by a small group of Microsoft PSS Engineers that were excited for the fame and fortune of being independent consultants. In 2002, MicroSystems Consulting expanded its focus and is now under a new partnership of highly experienced technical and business consultants.

Our technical staff consists of seasoned Information Technology professionals with extensive experience in systems architecture, information systems security, system, network, and database administration, web and software development, and end-user/technical training experience across a variety of Windows, Unix, and Apple platforms.
